Why make a lasting contribution to conservation?
Some people donate habitat to Manitoba Habitat Heritage Corporation
(MHHC) because they want wildlife and wild areas to remain a part
of the rural landscape. They understand that healthy ecosystems and
wildlife populations depend on healthy landscapes — a diversity
of fields, wetlands, grasslands and woodlands.
Others donate lands like the family homestead because they wish to see the property remain unchanged by the passage of time. These are special places for their grandchildren and future generations to enjoy, as they have in the past.
They all have one thing in common - they want to help sustain our rich natural heritage.
